This is a "Robertshaw" style high flow thermostat made specially for your 1990-2000 Mazda Miata. This style of thermostat offers significant improvements to coolant flow and better handles the increased cooling system pressures created by high RPM and racing applications. This thermostat is intended for high RPM racing applications, or for Miata's with a coolant re-route.
